Williamson contributed 25 points , 11 rebounds , and 4 assists, while Matkovic added 25 points , 6 rebounds , and 1 assist. For the Grizzlies, Jerome contributed 40 points , 5 rebounds , and 5 assists, while Boozer added 18 points, 9 rebounds , and 5 assists.

In the first quarter, the Pelicans took a 14-10 lead. The Grizzlies then relied on fast breaks from Jerome and Wells to keep the score close, but the Pelicans extended their lead further with a three-pointer from Jones and an alley-oop dunk from Mattkovic.
