Beating Barcelona is not the end goal; Mourinho demands a full three points away from home to continue the winning streak.

On the eve of Real Madrid's away match against Racing Santander in the 11th round of La Liga, Real Madrid manager José Mourinho attended a press conference.

In preparation for this match, Mourinho emphasized the importance of maintaining the winning momentum: "We are in good form recently and have prepared very well. But if we lose the points we gained last weekend, our victory against Barcelona will be meaningless."

“Only by winning again will the victory truly be meaningful. Racing Santander has been unbeaten at the Sardinian Stadium since its promotion to the First Division. We must respect their style and ambition and not be caught off guard.”

Speaking about the locker room's mentality after the El Clásico victory, Mourinho was pleased with the focus shown by the young players: "Everyone did celebrate after the win, but after returning from a day off, the whole team showed the same focus and motivation."

“We are a young team as a whole, but we have shown great maturity and composure in the face of victory and defeat. Our goal is not to beat Barcelona in a single match, but to win the entire league title.”

Looking ahead to the extremely tough away schedule, Mourinho bluntly stated that the team is facing an unprecedented test: "Away games are fraught with danger. You have to deal with the fervent home atmosphere and strong resistance. Then we have to travel to Athens to challenge AEK, and then play Valencia."

"The match that was originally scheduled for Sunday was moved to Saturday, which took away two days of rest and compressed three matches and three long trips into seven days. It is a tough schedule, but we will do our best to face it and see if we can make our opponents fail."
