Team Spirit swept Yandex in three straight games to win the PARI Universe championship.

In the PARI Universe finals held on November 2nd, the newly crowned TI champion Team Spirit defeated Team Yandex 3-0 to win the championship and successfully avenged their previous defeat in the BLAST SLAM VIII finals.

With this victory, Spirit won $125,000 of the total prize money of $250,000, while runner-up Yandex took home $50,000.

This is Spirit's first tournament title since winning their third championship at The International 2026. During the off-season, the team underwent roster changes. Offlaner Collapse and coach Miposhka temporarily left the team for a break, and Batyuk and IllidanSTR subsequently joined to fill the gaps.

Both teams finished the group stage with an 8-1 record, leading their respective groups, but their paths to the knockout stage were completely different. Yandex defeated Astra Invicta, PARIVISION, and GamerLegion in the upper bracket to advance.

Spirit was defeated by OG in the first round and fell into the lower bracket. Facing the pressure of elimination, Spirit defeated LEGION, PARIVISION, Team Liquid and GamerLegion in succession to reach the grand finals.

In the first game of the finals, Spirit established a 35-15 kill advantage in just 34 minutes. Yatoro, playing Anti-Mage, scored 16 kills, 2 deaths, and 4 assists to win the first game.

The second game became a close contest, with both sides battling until 72 minutes. Batyuk used Enigma to release Black Hole twice in a crucial team fight to control the opponent's key heroes, and together with Yatoro who got 30 kills, they took the match point.

In the third game, Batyuk, playing Timbersaw, delivered a performance of 15 kills, 6 deaths, and 19 assists, helping Spirit end the game in 51 minutes and secure the championship.
