League of Legends: Heretics completes contract extension with top laner Tracyn..

Spanish League of Legends esports organization Heretics announced on Sunday via their official X (Twitter) account that they have reached a contract extension with their top laner, Tracyn.

According to Heretics' official statement, Tracyn has signed on a new two-year deal, keeping him with the club through 2028.

With this announcement, the core of Heretics’ roster for 2027 has largely taken shape.

Previously, ADC player Byeon Jeong-hyeon (ID: Hype) also agreed to a contract extension with Heretics, running through 2028.

In September and October, reports emerged that the team was looking to sign GIANTX mid laner Jackies and his teammate, support player Yoon Se-jun (ID: Jun).

Additionally, it was reported last week that former Fnatic star jungler Razork is expected to join Heretics.

It is understood that before finalizing the extension with Tracyn, Heretics conducted tryouts in search of a new top-tier top laner. However, as none of the candidates proved to be the right fit, the organization opted to continue its partnership with the Polish player, who has already been with the team for two years.

Following the failure of their initial strategy, which aimed to build a roster with long-term growth potential, Heretics endured their worst performance since joining the LEC in 2026. Consequently, the organization has been forced to pivot, seeking to avoid a repeat of this year's struggles in the upcoming season.

The hope is that this potential new roster will resolve all the issues the Spanish League of Legends organization faced this past year.

Heretics’ expected roster for 2027 is:

Top: Tracyn

Jungle: Razork

Mid: Jackies

ADC: Byeon Jeong-hyeon (ID: Hype)

Support: Yoon Se-jun (ID: Jun)
