Maguire was named Man of the Match and stated that the team's fighting spirit was beyond doubt.

After a 1-1 draw against Leeds United away from home, 33-year-old center-back Harry Maguire, who returned to the starting lineup for Manchester United, was named Man of the Match.

In a post-match interview, Maguire praised the team's fighting spirit, but also stated that the team needs to improve in ball control and tactical details.

Speaking about the tough match and the team's performance, Maguire said: "You can't question the team's cohesion, fighting spirit and attitude. Elland Road is always a very tough place to play, and Leeds United are on a roll in the league."

"But we could have done better. We need to show higher quality when we have the ball. In an away game like this, you can't afford to make mistakes defending set pieces, but unfortunately we conceded a goal from a set piece right after we came back in the second half, which is a shame."

“Our formation was actually very solid throughout the match, and we didn’t give our opponents many opportunities. Although we stabilized the situation after 70 minutes and had a chance to win the game, the draw was fair overall.”

Maguire also explained the tactical adjustments made by head coach Michael Carrick for this match: "We specifically practiced them in training this week."

"When defending off the ball, we act a bit like a five-man defense, and when attacking with the ball, we move closer to a four-man defense, keeping the midfield fluid. We know that our opponents only have two players in the middle, so we hope to strengthen our physical play and pressure them when we don't have the ball."

Despite halting the opponent's offensive momentum, Maguire still emphasized that the team needed to let go of the pressure: "We could have been bolder when we had the ball and dared to receive it securely under defensive pressure."

"The team hasn't shown the courage it needs yet, and we must find that as soon as possible. Because to win games for Manchester United, both courage and composure are essential."
