Serie A – Venezia's two own goals lead Inter Milan to a 2-0 victory and their fourth consecutive win.

In the 9th round of the 2026/27 Serie A season, Inter Milan, playing away, defeated Venezia 2-0 thanks to two own goals from Venezia players.

Two minutes into the match, Venezia launched an attack. Torrill Helgason passed the ball to Pasquale, who followed up with a long-range shot from outside the penalty area, but it went wide. In the 7th minute, Antoine Aino chipped the ball into the penalty area from the right wing, and Alco Adams headed it, but the header went wide.

In the 13th minute, Inter Milan attempted a counter-attack. Zielinski chipped the ball to Dimarco near the edge of the penalty area, who then unleashed a long-range shot, but the ball went wide. In the 23rd minute, Augusto played a long pass to Ioan Bony, whose shot was saved by Venezia goalkeeper Stankovic.
