Ancelotti announces Brazil's national team roster for November friendlies.

Brazil's national team coach Carlo Ancelotti has officially announced the squad for the friendly match between Japan and Singapore in November.

After a disappointing World Cup campaign, the renowned Italian coach has clearly shifted his focus to building a younger generation of players, with the roster including nine players eligible for the Olympic team and 15 promising youngsters under the age of 23, accelerating the squad's generational transition.

To fully support clubs in the crucial stage of their domestic league title race, Ancelotti did not call up players from title contenders such as Palmeiras and Flamengo. As for World Cup veterans, Liverpool's first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker was once again left out of the squad.

In response, Ancelotti stated in an interview: "We don't need to scout Alisson anymore. We know him inside and out; he is the best goalkeeper."

"He will definitely be selected when the Copa America starts, and the same goes for the other veterans. At this stage, our priority is to evaluate new players, inject vitality into the squad, and help young players unlock their potential."

Speaking about the overall strategic cycle, Ancelotti said: "In the period leading up to 2027, we must work diligently to establish a clear direction. We need to make full use of 2027 to complete the overhaul, and I believe that by the time preparations for the 2028 World Cup qualifiers and Copa America begin, the Brazilian team will have a more mature core lineup."

In addition, 19-year-old Esteban, who has only started two games under new Chelsea manager Alonso this season, was selected again. Ancelotti publicly expressed his support: "Even if he doesn't get playing time at the club, we will continue to monitor his performance and give him the growth space appropriate for his age of 19."

"We will continue to monitor him as long as we believe he can be useful to the national team. Our goals are not the same as Chelsea's."
