De Zherdo praised the team's resilience after the match: "Tottenham are getting back on the right track."

In the recently concluded Premier League match, Tottenham Hotspur defeated Coventry City 3-1 at home. In a post-match interview, Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi highlighted the players' resilience and spirit in the face of adversity after conceding an equalizer.

“This victory is crucial for the standings, because looking at our previous standings has been painful,” De Zerbi said. “We deserve this victory, we deserve it today, and we deserve it in the previous games.”

In reviewing the tactical performance, De Zerbi admitted that the process was not easy: "I don't think we played particularly well tonight. We play much better in other games. Coventry's low block defense was very tight, and our ball movement wasn't fast enough."

Regarding the three-defender system deployed in the first half, De Zerbi explained: "We were too easily predicted by the opponent in the first half. We played with three defenders because our midfield was full of injuries. Perhaps not everyone knows, Gallagher was unavailable at the beginning of the week, and Fernandez didn't return from Portugal until Thursday or Friday."

Speaking about the team's overall momentum, De Zerbi emphasized: "We are getting into the right rhythm, not just tonight, but starting from the last game at Old Trafford."

"At Old Trafford, we responded after receiving a red card and after conceding a goal; it was the same today. We showed character and the ability to react, proving that we will never accept a draw or the situation after conceding a goal. This is very important, absolutely crucial."
