Emy Buendía said the match was impressive and full of challenges.

After Aston Villa defeated Viking at Villa Park, securing a victory in the Champions League stage, Amy Buendía emphasized the significance of the win. Aston Villa quickly took control of the game from the start and scored twice in the first half, including a penalty converted by Amy Buendía.

Despite Viking scoring a late goal to prevent a larger deficit, they ultimately lost 1-3. However, it was still a satisfying and rewarding night for Emy Buendia and the entire Aston Villa team.

Emmy Buendía said after the match: "It was an impressive match, but also a challenging one. When teams like this come to our home ground, they often give their all, doing everything they can to show their ability and fighting spirit, proving to the world that they are capable of participating in this competition."

"We always maintained sufficient respect for our opponents and made thorough preparations and tactical arrangements before the match. Ultimately, the team's performance in the game fully reflected these efforts."

Emmy Buendia had numerous scoring opportunities throughout the match, and Aston Villa also created several threatening attacking chances. However, the Argentine player consistently prioritized the team's interests over his personal performance, dedicating himself fully to the game and helping his team secure the victory. With this win, Aston Villa maintained their perfect record in the Champions League.

Emmy Buendía continued: “I had chances to score more goals. Although I created some scoring opportunities, I wasn’t able to capitalize on them all, but I’m happy to have had those chances. I’m satisfied with converting the penalty. This victory is very important for us, and we must continue to move forward.”
