Hugo Bueno believes the team needs to adjust their mindset as soon as possible and focus on the challenges ahead.

Portsmouth fought back tenaciously to equalize near the end of the match, preventing Wolves from holding onto their lead until the final whistle and costing them two points at Molineux Stadium. Hugo Bueno was deeply disappointed and frustrated by the close margins that determine the outcome of the game.  

Wolves failed to display their best form in the first half, but gradually took control of the game in the second half, breaking the deadlock with a goal from Jordan James to take a lead befitting their performance. Unfortunately, with just four minutes remaining, Portsmouth's Terry Devlin stepped up to score the equalizer for the visitors.  

Hugo Bueno understood that Wolves failed to extend their lead and maintain their composure when they had control of the game, ultimately allowing Portsmouth to capitalize on the opportunity and secure a point. However, given their upcoming home game against Watford this weekend, he pointed out that Wolves must quickly adjust their mindset and focus on the upcoming match, aiming to take three points on Saturday.  

Speaking about the team's failure to secure three points at home, Hugo Bueno said, "This result is indeed very disappointing. I think we should always aim to win when playing at home, but we haven't been able to do so in the last two games. Going forward, we can only continue to work hard and focus on the upcoming matches."  

"This was undoubtedly a challenging match, but I think the team played exceptionally well overall, especially in the second half. We created numerous scoring opportunities and kept the opponent firmly in their own half. Although we managed to score, the team's overall performance dipped somewhat after taking the lead."  

"Actually, we still showed some good performances at the time, but such situations are inevitable in football. The opponent only had one shot on target the whole game, but successfully put the ball into the net. We need to carefully analyze this game, find our shortcomings, and strive to improve in the next game."  

When discussing the team's need to improve its attacking efficiency, Hugo Bueno said, "We are well aware that the team has created many scoring opportunities. But ultimately, if we cannot convert those opportunities into goals, then no matter how many attacks we launch, it is meaningless. We must thoroughly examine our problems and make improvements as soon as possible."  

“I think the team’s performance in the second half was definitely commendable. All the players put in a lot of effort, and we also showed a good level of ball control. However, considering the course of the game and the final result, I am still very disappointed, so it’s hard to find more to praise for now. But we can’t dwell on this disappointment, because there is a crucial battle waiting for us on Saturday, and the team’s goal is very clear: to win.”  

When discussing the importance of team unity, Hugo Bueno said, "Maintaining unity is crucial because we have many more games to play and cannot dwell on the result of this match. We must adjust our mindset as soon as possible and get back into preparation, because after one game, another will soon follow."  

"We need to gradually adapt to the pace and characteristics of this level of league, while preparing for various challenges. When it comes to the crucial stage that determines victory or defeat, we must try to secure three points. I think that bearing this kind of pressure is not a bad thing for the team. To reach a higher level, we must learn to perform well under pressure. Therefore, we should view these challenges positively and continue to work hard in training."
