League of Legends: T1's jungler Moon Hyeon-joon (ID: Oner) has officially filed a lawsuit against individuals who posted malicious comments about him..

Sheep Esports, citing a report from the Seoul Economic Daily on Saturday and revealed that T1's ace jungler, Moon Hyeon-joon (ID: Oner), has officially filed a lawsuit against individuals who posted malicious comments about him.

According to the report, the volume of malicious online comments directed at Oner had been steadily increasing throughout the year, eventually crossing the line into defamation and personal attacks. Given the severity of the situation, his agency, Key Player Agency (KPA), had submitted the evidence they had gathered to the police for further investigation.

Following a months-long investigation, police identified and arrested several individuals responsible for the malicious comments on Wednesday (October 21, 2026, South Korea Standard Time). In response, KPA has decided to pursue legal action against these individuals.

Furthermore, KPA announced that it will continue to monitor online activity for any further malicious comments targeting Oner, adding that they do not rule out filing additional lawsuits against those who spread rumours or falsehoods.

It is worth mentoning that this is not the first time T1 players have faced intense or malicious criticism from aggressive fans, some of whom have even gone to extreme lengths, ostensibly to "defend" the players.

Last July, following T1’s elimination from the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI), the team’s top laner, Choi Hyeon-joon (ID: Doran), was subjected to a fierce backlash from fans.

At the time, protesters sent "protest trucks" to the headquarters of the LCK powerhouse, demanding that he be benched and urging the organization not to renew his contract.

A year prior, T1’s former bot laner (ADC), Lee Min-hyeong (ID: Gumayusi), faced a similar situation. He later went on to win the 2025 World Championship before transferring to Hanwha Life Esports (HLE).
