2026 World Championship Swiss Round: LPL and LCP's top seeds both eliminated.

The fourth day of the Swiss round of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship has concluded, with both number one seeds being eliminated.

Both LPL's top seed Anyone's Legend and LCP's top seed Team Secret Whales lost 0-2 in the knockout stage, finishing with a 0-3 record and failing to advance beyond the round of 16. This marks the second consecutive year that an LPL seed has been eliminated in the round of 16.

In the 0-2 elimination match that day, Team Secret Whales took the lead in the first game but was reversed by the Brazilian team LØS in 30 minutes. In the second game, LØS' top laner Zest played Kennen and performed steadily. TSW lost two games in a row and was eliminated.

Anyone's Legend (AL) faced off against North American Team Liquid (TL). AL's assistant coach, Despa1r, was unable to attend due to visa issues. TL dominated the first game, and the second game was close, but TL's bot laner, Yeon, gained an advantage with Xayah, ultimately leading TL to a 2-0 victory over AL.

In the two BO1 matches on the same day, T1 overcame a 2000 gold deficit in the early game by capitalizing on CFO's mid-game mistakes to complete a comeback; BLG, on the other hand, defeated KC thanks to Viper's outstanding performance with Kai'Sa in the bot lane. Both T1 and BLG now have a 2-1 record.
