Premier League – Victor Muñoz scores as Liverpool beat Brentford 2-1

The 7th round of the 2026/27 Premier League season continued with a key match, where Liverpool, playing away, came from behind to defeat Brentford 2-1 after goals from Victor Muñoz and Isak.

Seven minutes into the game, Brentford created an attacking opportunity when Lewis Porter passed the ball to Jaedon Anthony, who unleashed a long-range shot from outside the penalty area, but it was blocked by an opposing player. In the 8th minute, Liverpool midfielder Wirtz passed the ball across the box, and Szoboszlai, positioned at the edge of the penalty area, took a long-range shot, but the ball went over the goal.

In the 15th minute, Liverpool took a corner kick. McAllister received a diagonal pass from Wirtz at the edge of the penalty area and took a long-range shot, but he missed the target.
