Adi Hütter praised Frankfurt for showing a completely different side after their 1-0 victory over Cologne.

Eintracht Frankfurt defeated FC Köln 1-0 at home in the sixth round of the 2026/27 Bundesliga season, thanks to a second-half goal from Eboue Nuttalb. Adi Hütter described it as a significant victory and praised the team for displaying a completely different performance.

In the 77th minute of the second half, Asekho Enkili made a through pass in the penalty area, and Ebuutalib received the ball, took a few steps, and then pushed the ball into the net, giving Frankfurt a 1-0 lead.

Frankfurt ultimately defeated Cologne 1-0 at home, securing 3 points.

Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter said, "Judging from our performance in the second half, we really deserved this victory. After suffering a 0-6 defeat to Leipzig, the team responded very well and showed a completely different side."

“This 1-0 victory is very important, not only because we needed to respond to our previous defeat, but also because it is the team’s first home win in nearly six months. Therefore, I am very happy for the fans.”

Adi Hütter added, "All the players deserve praise, especially Robin Koch, who showed his ability. What I saw was a united team, running together, supporting each other, fighting hard and bravely, and that's what's most important."

In addition, Eintracht Frankfurt captain Robin Koch said, "After last week's game, we responded with this performance, which is really important for the team. This is exactly what the fans expect us to show."

“Every player on the team deserves praise because everyone showed courage and commitment throughout the 90 minutes of the game, and gave their all in every challenge, so I am really happy to win this game.”
