Karmine Corp swept through to secure their place in the Swiss round of the global finals.

The final stage of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship Play-In Stage concluded today. LEC team Karmine Corp (KC) continued their winning streak, sweeping Vietnamese dark horse MVK Esports 3-0 to secure the last valuable ticket to the Swiss Round.

Looking back at their journey in the play-in stage, KC narrowly won their first match against Cloud9 KIA in a five-game battle, but quickly regained their form afterward. In today's crucial match for advancement, KC demonstrated overwhelming tactical dominance.

In the first game, KC forced a team fight in the mid lane and wiped out the enemy team. In just 28 minutes, they took the lead with a huge kill ratio of 13-2. In the second game, jungler Yike and top laner Canna dominated the entire lane. The team quickly built up an amazing 15,000 gold advantage and won the second game to take the match point.

In the third game, facing MVK's aggressive counterattack with frequent head swaps, KC steadily controlled the Baron and destroyed the opponent's crystal in the 28th minute, ending the game cleanly with a kill ratio of 25-12.

MVK Esports finished the World Championship in 17th place, earning a $50,000 prize. KC, who advanced, will join 15 other top teams from around the world in the Swiss round to compete for the Summoner's Cup.

With the final ticket secured, the draw for the first round of the Swiss Tournament has been completed, with KC set to face Anyone's Legend (AL), a team from the Chinese LPL region. This year's Swiss Tournament will be held in Texas from October 23rd to 31st.
