Former Spurs player Jeremy Sohan was selected as the number one draft pick in the G League and will join Texas Legends.

The NBA G League has officially confirmed that Jeremy Sohan has been selected as the number one overall pick in the G League draft. He will join the Dallas Mavericks' affiliate team, the Texas Legends, in his quest to return to the NBA through the G League.

Other reports indicate that Soher will sign a standard G League contract with the Texas Legends. At any stage of the new season, any team in the league can sign him to a standard NBA contract.

The 23-year-old Sohan is a 2.03-meter tall, 104-kilogram forward who entered the NBA in 2022 as the ninth overall pick in the first round. He spent the first three and a half years of his career with the San Antonio Spurs, playing a total of 212 regular season games, averaging 10.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in 25.3 minutes per game, with a field goal percentage of 46.8% and a three-point percentage of 28.7%.

Due to a sharp decline in his tactical importance, Sorhan reached an early termination agreement with the Spurs in February of this year. He subsequently joined the New York Knicks, signing a contract until the end of the 2025/26 season.

During his time with the Knicks, Sohan played 44 regular season games, averaging 10.7 minutes, 3.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game; he played 8 playoff games and won the NBA championship with the team.

During his time with the Knicks, Sohan played a total of 16 regular season games, averaging 2.8 points, 21 rebounds, and 0.8 assists in 6.9 minutes per game, with a field goal percentage of 56.7% and a three-point percentage of 20.0%. He also played 8 playoff games, ultimately winning the NBA championship with the team.

In August of this year, Sorhan signed a one-year contract with the Portland Trail Blazers. However, he was waived by the Blazers after playing four preseason games.
