Cuomo announced on Monday that it has renewed Anastasios Duvikas' contract. The new contract extends the original 2029 expiry date by two years, until June 30, 2031.
The 27-year-old Duvikas primarily plays as a center forward. He made his professional debut for his former club Tripolis in the Greek Super League on August 19, 2017. He subsequently played for Volos, Utrecht, and Celta Vigo before joining Como in February 2025 for a transfer fee of €14 million.
To date, Duvikas has made 68 appearances for Como, scoring 27 goals and providing 5 assists, helping the team finish in the top four of Serie A last season. He has also made 24 appearances for the Greek national team, contributing 3 goals and 3 assists.
Regarding the contract extension, Como coach Cesc Fabregas commented: "From the first day he arrived in Como, Tassos has shown a strong mentality, which is reflected in his performance on the field. He has always maintained a positive attitude, has great ambitions, and possesses extremely good professionalism. We are very pleased to announce the news of his contract extension."
Duvekas said: "I am delighted to continue working alongside Como. I felt right at home from the start and immediately felt the club's ambition. Thanks to Coach Fabregas and his team, I have grown a lot since joining Como. To me, this team is like a big family. I hope to continue to do my best and contribute to the team."
After renewing his contract, Duvikas' main task is to help Como continue their strong momentum this season. Como currently sits fifth in Serie A with 17 points from 5 wins, 2 draws, and 1 loss, and has defeated RB Leipzig and Manchester United in the Champions League.
