Official: Roma extend the contract of 19-year-old right-back Luli until 2031.

Rome officially announced on Monday that it has reached a contract extension agreement with Emanuele Luli. The new contract extends the original expiry date of next summer by four years, until June 30, 2031.

According to a previous report by Gazzetta dello Sport, Luli's salary will increase annually after his contract extension. His fixed annual salary is expected to be less than 1 million euros, plus bonuses linked to individual and team performance.

After completing his contract extension, Luli said on social media: "I am very happy and excited to continue playing for Roma until June 30, 2031. I am very proud to wear the red and yellow jersey. I can't wait to continue to grow, improve, and give my all for the team."

The 19-year-old Luli primarily plays as a right-back, but can also fill in as a right winger, left-back, or other positions when necessary. A native of Rome, he joined his hometown club's youth academy at the age of 14.

On August 24, 2026, Luli made his first-team debut in Serie A. To date, he has made 6 appearances for Roma and scored 1 goal.

However, Luli has not yet had the opportunity to play in the Champions League. Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini explained, "We have four outstanding players in the same position. Devin Rensch has consistently performed well, Wesley has developed into a top player, and Navel Molina has also reached a very high level of performance after an initial adjustment period."

Gasperini added, "I'm very happy for him because he deserves everything he has achieved. However, everyone must continue to improve their individual abilities, because only when each player continues to grow can the team become stronger."
