Louis de la Fuente hopes the team can perform at a high level and secure a place in the next round as soon as possible.

Spain's national team coach Luis de la Fuente attended a press conference at the Polyud Stadium in Split, Croatia, and gave a pre-match interview to the media, previewing the team's upcoming UEFA Nations League matches.

Luis de la Fuente said: "They are a very strong team, a highly competitive team, and one of the most important national teams in international football over the past decade. The 7-0 scoreline a few days ago was an exceptional case; such a scoreline may never be seen again in a lifetime, so it does not accurately reflect the true gap in strength between the two sides."

"This result might become their motivation to move forward. That's how football is; we hope to play at a high level and secure qualification early. I expect Croatia to perform as we anticipated before the match. To me, they are a very good team, one of the most important national teams in world football for the past decade. As for the match a few days ago, that was just an unexpected situation and doesn't truly reflect their strength."

"We will always arrange the most suitable lineup based on the actual situation of the next game, which is what we have been doing in the previous games. The same will be true for tomorrow's game, and we will make reasonable choices. At present, no player has played more than 270 minutes, which means that no one has played in all four games. Tomorrow's game is very important to us, and we hope to be in the best condition to play."

“All the players want to play and believe they are in peak physical condition. Facing such a strong opponent, we need to make reasonable rotations and distributions within the team to give everyone appropriate playing time. Against Croatia, our goal remains to deliver our best performance.”

"Ultimately, the most important thing is the players' own abilities. They deserve recognition because they are always ready when the team needs them. We know very well which players can play and how to integrate them quickly into the team. Having such a group of players who can connect with each other and form a complete system is very important to us."
