Nottingham Forest will travel to Portman Road to face Ipswich Town in the next round of Premier League matches. Glasner stated that Gibbs White has been training throughout the week and is therefore ready for the game.
In the previous match against Crystal Palace, 26-year-old England midfielder Gibbs White missed the key match against Arsenal due to a minor injury.
Nottingham Forest manager Glasner said, "Gibbs White is ready and has been training all week, so there are no concerns. Milenkovic was previously on the bench but is now ready to start and play. Currently, only Igor Jesus and Nicolo Savona are unavailable for the squad; the other players are in good physical condition."
"It's very important for the team that our captain is back. He can not only create chances, but he's also capable of scoring goals himself. It's good news, but I think we've proven that we can put up a fight against the defending champions Arsenal even without Gibbs White. This gives us more confidence because we've lost games whether Gibbs White is on or off the pitch."
Glasner said, "He is an important member of the team, but he cannot win a game on his own. Therefore, we need the whole team to perform well. Of course, it is definitely a good thing to have this player back."
Furthermore, after a 0-1 defeat to Arsenal in the last round of the Premier League, Nottingham Forest currently sits in 19th place with 5 points, while newly promoted Ipswich Town is in 10th place with 9 points. However, Nottingham Forest has won their last three matches against Ipswich Town.
"I never pay special attention to the standings in October, but we certainly hope to get more points," Glasner said.
"But I think we've performed much better at this stage of the season than any team I've coached before. The results aren't that different, but the fighting spirit the team has shown gives me confidence."
