CS2: The person in charge of BC.Game clarified on the show that s1mple never interfered with the team formation.

With fame comes trouble, especially for veteran star players. When recruited to a team, the original members and newcomers suddenly have to be mindful of each other's feelings. After all, they are hired to provide support, so it's inevitable that they have to listen to the opinions of the newcomers. If they encounter someone who is arrogant and unwilling to accept the opinions of the younger generation, they will definitely make a fool of themselves. Therefore, some teams that like to break out of the mold have their eyes on rising dark horses. With the emergence of youth training talents, fresh blood always brings surprises.

S1mple's surprising announcement of joining BC.Game shocked fans, as his experience undoubtedly deserved a better team. The truth is, he was also in a slump at the time, being loaned out, before recovering his form. Everyone was curious about his next move, and perhaps it was fate that brought the two together. As a big name in the esports scene, being treated with respect and affection is perfectly reasonable. However, while there are occasional reports of him acting like a diva, the outside world is also very curious about how he will work with his teammates.

Just then, the club's head, akofocus, appeared on the YouTube podcast "All About Counter-Strike" and mentioned internal cooperation. Contrary to the rumors, he said that s1mple has never interfered with personnel arrangements and has not made the team build around him. They get along well and he would never force the higher-ups to sign a certain player. At most, he would share his views and point out the strengths and weaknesses of the players.
