Unai Emery hopes the team can continue their recent excellent performance and strive for a third consecutive league victory.

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery spoke to the media ahead of their match against Fulham. Aston Villa will return to Villa Park this Saturday to host Fulham, and the team hopes to continue their recent good form and secure their third consecutive league win. In the pre-match press conference, Emery discussed Fulham's recent performances, the team's squad depth, Nicolas Jackson's form, and other related topics.

Unai Emery said: "They have been performing exceptionally well recently, showing strong competitiveness in the last few matches. Even though they failed to win against Crystal Palace in the League Cup, there are still many commendable aspects to their overall performance . Their performance in the league, in particular, has been outstanding."

"Of course, Álvaro Arbeloa is no stranger to English football. He has played here for many years and accumulated a wealth of experience. He has also been mentored by several excellent coaches. Judging from the team's current style of play, it is clear that he is an experienced head coach with outstanding tactical coaching abilities."

Speaking about Nicholas Jackson's recent performance, Unai Emery said, "He is demonstrating his professionalism through his actions, and I have always known that he is a very, very dedicated player. For him, football has always been the most important thing in life."

“He has always maintained a high level of passion for football and is willing to take on more responsibility. He hopes to fully demonstrate his strength at Aston Villa and contribute to the team. I am satisfied with his current performance, but there are still many areas where he needs to improve. Going forward, he must continue to train hard, constantly improve his personal abilities, and strive to maintain a stable competitive state.”

"At this stage, our most important task is to prepare for the upcoming games. From the beginning of the season to the preseason training phase, every step of the team's arrangements has been clearly planned. Our goal is always to focus on each game and competition in front of us, and to make the most appropriate deployment based on the players' physical condition and the available personnel."

"At the same time, we must also help some players gradually regain their confidence, giving them enough time to integrate into the team, adapt to the rhythm of the game, and readjust their competitive state. For players who have just recovered from injuries, it also takes time to reach their ideal physical level. Therefore, building and integrating the team lineup is not something that can be done overnight, but rather a continuous process that needs to be pursued, and this process is still ongoing. However, no matter what stage we are at, we will always put every game in front of us first."

"If I were to start thinking about what to do after the Fulham game, it would be a mistake, and something that should never happen. Therefore, we must be fully focused on the game against Fulham and make it clear that the Premier League is the team's top priority right now, which is the message we want to convey. To maintain our consistent performance, uphold the team's high standards, and keep putting in the effort every day, we must continue the attitude and commitment we showed last season. Every game is an important test for us."

"Looking at the current Premier League standings, we still have room for improvement. Undeniably, the team is making progress, and our overall performance is showing a positive upward trend. However, if we hope to continue our consistent performance from last season and maintain our lead in the standings, we must dedicate all our energy to tomorrow's game."

"We must treat this competition as our most important task at present, give our opponents the respect they deserve, make full preparations for the competition, and meet the challenge with a high degree of concentration and sufficient intensity in accordance with the actual requirements of the competition."
