Official: AC Milan extends Pulisic's contract until 2031

AC Milan announced on Friday that they have reached a contract extension agreement with Christian Pulisic. The new contract extends the original expiry date of next summer by four years, until June 30, 2031.

According to multiple sources, Pulisic's annual salary after the contract extension is approximately €5 million. This makes him one of AC Milan's highest-paid players, equaling Mikel Maignan and Adrian Rabiot.

The 28-year-old Pulisic primarily plays as a right winger, but can also play as a left winger, attacking midfielder, second striker, and center forward. He previously played for Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea, winning the German Cup, Champions League, Club World Cup, and UEFA Super Cup with the clubs.

In July 2023, Pulisic joined AC Milan from Chelsea for €21 million. As one of the best American players of his generation, he has made 142 appearances for Milan to date, scoring 44 goals and providing 28 assists, and winning one Italian Super Cup with the team.

After completing the contract extension, Pulisic could not hide his joy and excitement. He said through official channels: "I am very happy and excited. I am proud to have completed the contract extension with the club because I love everything about Milan. Whether in good times or bad, I can feel all kinds of emotions and the love of the fans. I quickly realized that Milan is the best place for me."

“AC Milan has given me everything. I feel right at home in Milan and hope to spend the next few years here. I love this city, and so do my family. Their feelings are very important to me. I want to continue to give my all to help the club return to the top it deserves.”

“My experience in Milan is like a book, and the current chapter is particularly important. I have gained a lot in the past year, especially from the fans. Even in the most difficult times, they have given me invaluable support. The club's management has also played a crucial role. I have spoken with Gri Cardinale, and he has always had great trust in me.”
