Álvaro Arbeloa: We hope to beat Aston Villa and prove that the team is capable of defeating any opponent.

After consecutive victories against two newly promoted teams in their last two matches, Fulham manager Álvaro Arbeloa hopes his team can maintain their momentum and continue their breakthrough in the Premier League. The team first secured their first league win of the season, followed by their first away victory. Arbeloa gave a clear answer regarding his next goals at the press conference.

Álvaro Arbeloa said: "Our goal is to beat Aston Villa. However, they are definitely a strong and difficult opponent, after all, they just beat Manchester City last weekend. We all know that it is not easy to win against a team like Manchester City. In addition, they will travel to Barcelona in four days, which fully demonstrates that they are a team with Champions League level competitiveness."

"Beat Aston Villa will be a new test for us, and this game is also very important because we hope to prove that we have the ability to beat any opponent. Therefore, I believe the whole team will embark on the away journey with this belief, do our best to win, and always firmly believe that we can beat any team."

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery is widely regarded as one of the best coaches in football today, and Álvaro Arbeloa has also been generous in praising his compatriot, giving full recognition to his coaching achievements.

He stated, "Judging from his coaching career, the various honors he has won, and the achievements he has made at different clubs, I believe he is undoubtedly one of the best coaches in Spanish football history. Based on the level of coaching he has demonstrated so far, he is also among the world's top coaches. He is indeed an outstanding manager, and he continues to improve the overall strength of the team every season."

“No matter which team he coaches, he always delivers remarkable results. For me, facing his team head-to-head is a very valuable challenge. I am delighted to see a Spanish coach achieve such outstanding success in the Premier League.”

When discussing how Unai Emery shaped the Aston Villa team we know today, Álvaro Arbeloa went on to discuss the team's tactical style and analyze the process new signings need to go through to adapt to the team's system.

Álvaro Arbeloa said, "He has very clear requirements on how players should perform in matches. Of course, with the addition of new players, the team's original integration process will be affected to some extent, and it may even be necessary to rebuild the overall tactical system. Therefore, the coach must give them enough time to adapt. This is a normal situation in the development of football, and judging from the team's current performance, we can clearly see the progress they have made."

"Aston Villa is a very compact team with excellent defensive organization. Even when they have possession, they know exactly how to attack and control the game. In addition, they have many top-class players. A team with both an excellent manager and a high-level squad has the potential to become a very good team."
