Kluivert stated frankly, "I firmly believe in my own abilities no matter who I face."

In a key Europa League group stage match, Bournemouth defeated Serie A powerhouse AC Milan 3-0 at Vitality Stadium, securing their third consecutive victory in the competition. After the match, star striker Justin Kluivert stated in an interview that the team is well aware of its own level and possesses unwavering confidence against any strong opponent.

In the match, Kluivert opened the scoring with a penalty, followed by goals from Marcus Tafnir and Armin Adli, securing the victory for the home team.

Speaking about the victory, Kluivert said, "I think this victory is very significant. We came in with two consecutive wins, which gave us a lot of confidence for this game. We often say that we only have faith in ourselves. No matter who the opponent is, we have no doubt about ourselves. We know our strength, and I think we proved that again tonight."

AC Milan goalkeeper Maignan was shown a straight red card in the first half for a serious foul, putting the away team down to ten men early on. Despite having a numerical advantage, Kluivert still expressed respect for the opponent's history and mentioned the historical ties between the two teams.

Kluivert said: "AC Milan has a deep history and is a great club, a true powerhouse. I didn't know much about it before, but I later heard that our two teams actually have a long history, and our red and black colors originated from AC Milan. Tonight was a highly anticipated match, and we won it."

With this resounding victory, Marco Rose's Bournemouth have achieved a perfect record of three wins and no goals conceded in their Europa League matches. Kluivert emphasized that the team's defensive focus and intensity were key to the winning streak: "We know our current record: three wins and no goals conceded, which makes me proud."

“We need to keep it up, and we know how to do it. What I like most about the team is our intensity; no matter who starts, we always give it our all.”
