TES staged a comeback to defeat BLG and advance to the quarterfinals of the 2026 World Championship.

In the fourth round of the Swiss round of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship, two LPL teams with a record of 2 wins and 1 loss faced off.

After three rounds of competition, Top Esports (TES) defeated Bilibili Gaming (BLG) 2-1, successfully securing a spot in the knockout stage; BLG's record dropped to 2 wins and 2 losses, and they will need to compete in the fifth round for the final qualifying spot.

After a shocking first-round defeat to MDK, BLG won two consecutive matches to return to the competition. TES, affected by visa issues, had veteran 369 return to the starting lineup. After losing their first match to HLE, they defeated AL and G2 to advance to the fourth round.

The first game saw intense competition from both sides at the start. BLG gradually expanded their advantage in the fight for neutral resources and broke through TES's defense with a crucial dragon team fight. In the 27th minute, BLG took the first game with a 21-6 kill ratio.

In the second game, BLG maintained an early lead, with Knight's LeBlanc frequently gaining an advantage. However, BLG's formation became disorganized when they ventured deep into the enemy jungle, allowing TES to capitalize and secure kills and the loss of Baron. TES then initiated a Baron attempt to lure the enemy, allowing 369 to execute a crucial flank that dismantled BLG's formation. In the 37th minute, TES destroyed the enemy base, tying the series with a 13-10 victory.

In the decisive game, TES relied on Tian's Pantheon to create an opening in the bottom lane in the early game, while 369 also applied pressure in his solo lane to extend their turret advantage. In the mid-to-late game, TES completely controlled vision, repeatedly killing Viper in team fights and securing Baron. In the 27th minute, TES achieved a 17-3 kill ratio to end the game, completing a reverse sweep of the series.

After winning, TES directly advanced to the knockout stage, while BLG will face a do-or-die match in the fifth round of the Swiss round. If they lose again, they will be eliminated from this tournament.
